Legislation

Relevant legislation includes the British Columbia Human Rights Code, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Americans with Disabilities Act.

Media

Access seeks to highlight positive media stories and developments that pertain to people with disabilities. We also try to respond in a timely way to stereotypical distortions of the disability experience in the media and to news coverage or media features on disability issues, especially in campus, local and provincial media.
