On Campus Alliances

Organizing the constituency of disabled students was the top priority of Access UVic! for its first three years and gaining political and administrative independence has been the priority for the past two years. Our advocacy work continues to focus on bringing together a strong cross-disability alliance of students with disabilities. Working closely with disabled staff and faculty is also a priority.

Access UVic! is committed to building cooperative relationships with all groups on campus. Our goal is to work collaboratively with student groups, faculty members, the University Administration and the University’s disability service provider, the Resource Centre for Students with Disabilities (RCSD).
